The Megamo Reason AL 05 2027 delivers the full-fat Reason experience at a price point that will appeal to a lot of serious riders. Built around a 160mm aluminium chassis, the new DJI Avinox M2S motor and an 800Wh integrated battery, it combines genuine enduro capability with the sort of full-power support and long-range ride potential that makes the 2027 Megamo Reason range so interesting.
With up to 150Nm of torque in Boost mode and 1300W peak power available, the motor gives the AL 05 plenty of punch on steep climbs, while the Fox 38 Float Performance E-Bike Optimised fork and Fox Float X Performance rear shock keep the bike composed and confidence-inspiring on rougher descents. A SRAM 90 Eagle T-Type 12-speed drivetrain, Shimano XT four-piston hydraulic disc brakes and Maxxis Assegai / Minion DHR II tyres complete a build that feels properly sorted for aggressive trail and enduro riding straight out of the box.
