The Continental Trail King ProTection Folding MTB Tyre is designed for riders who want maximum grip, confident cornering and dependable puncture resistance across trail, all-mountain and enduro terrain. Sitting between fast-rolling XC tyres and full downhill rubber, the Trail King strikes an ideal balance of traction, control and rolling efficiency.
At the centre of its performance is Continental’s renowned BlackChili compound, delivering excellent grip on wet rock, roots and loose surfaces while maintaining impressive durability and mileage. The tread pattern features a ramped centre section to keep rolling resistance low, with aggressive, multi-shaped shoulder knobs that bite hard when leaned over in corners.
The ProTection casing adds a high level of puncture resistance without compromising ride feel. Built from a robust 4-ply construction (240 TPI), it defends against sharp rocks and snake bites while remaining supple enough for confident trail feedback. The tyre is also tubeless ready, allowing lower pressures for improved grip and comfort.
