From Lancaster: Follow signs for Trough of Bowland and Dunsop Bridge. When you arrive in Dunsop Bridge (passing the church, school and village hall) turn left towards the village itself. As you drop down towards Dunsop Bridge village, past the War Memorial on your left, turn right immediately before the bridge, signed to Root Farm. We are in the Stable Yard, adjacent to the gravel parking area.
From Longridge: Leave Longridge with the Alston Arms on your left. Stay on this road for around three miles until you come to a sharp left hand bend with white railings; turn right here. After around one mile, turn left and when you come to the T-junction turn right. Take the next left signed towards The Inn at Whitewell. You’ll pass the Whitewell on your left after about three miles. Stay on this road, over Burholme Bridge, past Inch Perfect Trials, over the small bridge with white railings, and past the turn-off to Lancaster and Trough of Bowland, towards Dunsop Bridge Village.
As you drop down towards Dunsop Bridge village, past the War Memorial on your left, turn right immediately before the bridge, signed to Root Farm. We are in the Stable Yard, adjacent to the gravel parking area.
From Clitheroe: Drive out of Clitheroe on the B678 and straight through Waddington. Pass The Higher Buck on your right and drive up and over Waddington Fell, arriving in Newton. Turn left just after The Parkers Arms and drive for two and a half miles towards Dunsop Bridge. When you arrive in the village with the tearoom/post office on your right, head over the bridge and take your immediate left turn, before the short climb out of the village, signed to Root Farm. We are in the Stable Yard, adjacent to the gravel parking area.
